Applegreen will integrate M&S Food stores

The retailers have teamed up to install M&S shop-in-shop sites at five service stations across Ireland.


Applegreen and M&S Food have entered into an exclusive partnership to bring the food retailer to more places across Ireland. A new M&S ‘shop-in-shop’ will initially be available at five Applegreen locations and will offer the best of the brand, including fresh fruit, sandwiches and salads, tonight’s dinner and a selection of other favorites to alongside the existing service station operator. range of products.

Two locations are set to launch this year, with the first due to open in November, with the second following shortly thereafter. A further three stores will open in the first quarter of next year, to complete the brand’s store proposition across its nearly 200 locations in Ireland.

This association with M&S is the latest step in Applegreen’s continued evolution to deliver the best customer experience on the road to Irish customers. It follows recent innovations such as the launch of Braeburn Coffee, which is now available in over 40 locations and continues to roll out across the country.

Applegreen opened its first service station in Ballyfermot in 1992 and has significant business overseas, with operations in Britain and the United States, and a total of 620 locations and over 700 branded food offerings at through its global network.
