The report came 11 days after a clash was reported between AAP and BJP workers at the ruling party Kamalam office in Koba village in Gandhinagar.
According to an FIR filed with Infocity police, the lab report confirmed the presence of 0.0545% alcohol by weight per volume in Gadhvi’s blood samples taken on December 20, immediately after his arrest at Kamalam. .
Infocity PI PD Vaghela, who became the plaintiff in the case, told the FIR that Gadhvi, who was drunk at the time, was part of an illegal gathering while intoxicated.
The violent clash between AAP and BJP workers took place when AAP workers registered their protest against the recent recruiting exam of the Chief Leak Clerk of the Gujarat Subordinate Service Selection Board (GSSSB ).
Around 20 AAP employees, including executives, were arrested as police filed an FIR against Gadhvi, Italia, Shiv Kumar, Pravin Ram, Nikhil Savani, Hasmukh Patel and around 500 others, reserving them under 18 sections of IPC which include criminal trespassing, indecent assault, unlawful assembly, causing bodily harm, conspiracy and destruction of public property, among others.
