Hard Fizz obtains a national partnership with Coles Liquor. Includes an exclusive range of Australia’s first naturally caffeinated seltzers.

Hard Fizz has signed a national agreement with Coles Liquor and will be stocked in more than 850 First Choice Liquor Market and Liquorland stores across the country, opening up new markets for the drink.

Hard Fizz has sold $10 million worth of seltzer since its launch in 2020 and the segment continues to grow rapidly for First Choice Liquor Market and Liquorland.

Mia Lloyd, Managing Director of Customer Loyalty, Business Planning and Information for Coles Liquor, said: “We have expanded our selection of seltzers in recent years to include a number of locally made drinks and we are very happy to add Hard FIZZ to our selection. .”

Hard FIZZ CEO Wade Tiller said: “There’s obviously a very ‘fun’ aspect to Hard Fizz – and that’s driven by our celebrity owners and what consumers are clinging to – but it’s also a serious business operation, and it proves it.”

Famous owners include podcaster Chloe Fisher, DJ’s Tigerlily and Brooke Evers, DJ Fisher and professional surfers Nikki Van Dijk and Laura Enever.

The Coles Liquor and Hard FIZZ partnership comes with an exclusive range period on the brand’s latest release, FIZZ X Energy, which adds natural caffeine to its “better for you” flavors, starting with grape and the strawberry.

“FIZZ X Energy is an brainchild of our Gold Coast brewery, FIZZ HQ,” says Tiller.

“We only use it to produce small quantities of experimental flavors, but if people like them on tap, that’s when we started making commercial quantities.

“It basically allows us to ‘bundle’ our own mixes and FIZZ X is absolutely the product of that.”

Strawberry and Grape is the world’s first hard seltzer to include natural caffeine as an ingredient.
